response to textbook issue

in our socratic circles we found many differing oppinions which leave us all a little confused about history. how can we try to throw out little bits and pieces of history as we know it? how can we eleminate certain historians from textbooks or coriculum? i kind of understand what the texas bored of education is trying to do with there history lessons but i believe that they took it a bit to far.  many people have their own beliefs on history and they will stick to their beliefd but everyone would love to know the truth. people say that history repeats itself, well if so i would love to know everything that happend in history so that the same problems of history dont happen in thefuture or present time. by leaving things out of history textbooks we will not be getting the same knowladge of history as we should. i believe we would only be hurting ourselves.

  1. Alright Gage it time to criticize the man who works the hardest in first period. This is going to be hard. I am just messing around with you man I know that the truth is that you are super smart. Anyway your input on the circle thing we did in class was very caring and detailed. Your thoughts were well explained and not even I had thought of those great comments you made about the conversation in class. I hope you are not getting bored with my comments. I believe I only understood as much as you did. If I can suggest anything it is that we should both try to pay a little more attention. Your blog posting is a little short and I haven t even posted mine. Remember it is just a suggestion. Your grammar and vocabulary is a little messed up you could change that just by writing you’re posting on a word document and copying then pasting. Good luck with your future postings.
